RECENT PRODUCTIONS:
On Her Shoulders We Stand, written and directed by Patrice Amon, had an encore run at the La Jolla Playhouse WOW Festival, April 21-24, 2022 after a 4 week run in Barrio Logan. It was an immersive, multi-sensory theatrical experience that takes patrons through a series of interconnected spaces to understand the role of Latinas in World War II. Emily was Matilda Reynoso, Volunteer Air Raid Warden.
The Other Place, written by Sharr White and directed by Sandra Ruiz at OnStage Playhouse in Chula Vista, ran through April 17, 2022. Emily was triple-cast as the daughter, the doctor and an unnamed woman.
The Mineola Twins, written by Pulitzer Prize Winning Playwright Paula Vogel and directed by Jennifer Eve Thorn, ran 4 weeks at Moxie Theatre in San Diego through October 2021. Emily was Jim/FBI Agent/Psych Ward Attendant/Sock Bop/Voice of Carmela and wore many, many wigs.
Friends with Guns, a world premiere written by Stephanie Allison Walker and directed by Randee Trabitz ran 8 weeks at the Road Theatre on Magnolia through May 2019. Emily played Shannon, a high anxiety mom, searching for her voice and power unbeknownst to herself.
